Ben is an international and NZ expert in technology, privacy, intellectual property, and consumer law. He brings decades of experience as a commercial lawyer in these areas.

That includes time at top law firms acting for large and small tech companies both in NZ and internationally. But he has also worked as an in house lawyer in leading NZ companies. There he worked closely alongside CEOs and leadership teams to solve legal problems in pragmatic ways and align legal advice to commercial objectives.

Once-upon-a-time he was also a founder of a tech start-up, so he has first hand experience as a decision maker in a tech company. He uses that experience to provide legal support in the most useful way. He loves helping NZ companies to disrupt markets and do business around the world.
